Out of The Norm

We are friends of 'The Norm'. He never fails to make us laugh. He's great. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have the Normism which is what this blog is all about.

Norm's theory on losing things...

Gem: Do you know where my mp3 player is?

Norm: No, why where is it?

Gem: (slowly) I don't know that's why I just asked you...

Norm: Oh... have you lost it?

Gem: (sarcastically) Noooo, I'm just asking you for no reason!

Norm: Well there's different kinds of lost isn't there

Gem: Eh!?

Norm: Y'know like you can lose something or you can like really lose something

Gem: ..... whatever

I dunno if I should say this but I kind of understood where The Norm was coming from.

You have lost something where you have just put it down somewhere, you in fact know you had it like 5 minutes ago so you know it's got to be in the 2 rooms you've been in somewhere? It's still lost but you have a general idea.

Then you have the lost where you actually have no recollection of the last time you had that item, none what-so-ever and it's not in the place where it usually is and you really have no idea where it could be.

Does this make me on the same wavelength as The Norm?
